On March 27th, we hosted our third unconference, bringing together 37 diverse professionals representing fifteen different organisations. With a nearly balanced gender representation (just over half the participants being men), attendees collaboratively explored the critical role men play in driving organisational change through innovative leadership approaches. Research-backed strategies and evidence-based solutions were explored for creating, leading, and fostering truly equitable workplace cultures. The interactive format generated valuable insights on transforming leadership practices to support inclusivity and equity at all levels.
‘The Unconference was a breath of fresh air. It gave attendees the opportunity to truly connect with each other across a very diverse group who could share and discuss their lived experiences and what inclusivity really means to them which I found hugely beneficial as a male leader in a STEM organisation.’ – Jonathan Scott
‘A day discussing the hallmarks of male leadership behaviour, what genuine inclusivity, diversity and opportunity meant and some practical ideas for improvement in the way we do things as individuals as well as in organisations.’ – Simon Ward
‘A free space to bring together a group of diverse people to discuss the key challenges we are facing as we look at what conscious and inclusive leadership means in our society today, and in particular how we support and enable men to lead differently in this environment. Fun, empowering and insightful.’ – Claire Sharpe
‘The conference networked its participants brilliantly to reimagine men leading differently – championing inclusion to catalyse diversity of thought at work.’ – Andrew Lewis
